Terms and Conditions

Estimates: are non-binding or subject to change. While our goal is accuracy in estimates, changes in amount of inventory, access to service address(es), drive time involved, number of stops, or other factors may result in changes in fees and/or charges.

Exclusions: Washing machines, furnishings constructed of particle board, or items in weak/poor condition may be moved, at the customers own risk. Items packed, wrapped, padded, loaded, or transported by customer cannot be guaranteed and are therefore NOT covered by Company coverage, liability, valuation, or any insurance.

Movers cannot move HAZARDOUS, flammable, or cash items.

Agreement: Signature indicates acceptance of estimate, in contracting with Mainstream Movers to provide indicated services at rates specified above. Customer agrees to payment in full (less deposit when applicable) upon delivery and/or completion of said services. Parties agree to terms and conditions outlined here and may contact the business office at (406)866-0007 for additional information. Additionally, the customer has been provided the following link to the government pamphlet on "Moving Rights and Responsibilities", https://www.fmcsa.dot.gov

Deposit: A deposit is requested to secure the date, time, and moving team when scheduling. Deposit is non-refundable. Payments are accepted via cash, check, and most electronic forms including Venmo, Zelle, and Paypal. ACS is available for some clients via this webpage.

Valuation: Items handled or moved by Mainstream affiliates, (excluding those detailed above) are covered at the standard, minimum valuation rate, unless "full value coverage" is opted for on particular items. Rates for full replacement/full value are at a higher service rate and may result in recalculating the estimate for service. Reduced rates - as those included here - are determined and established by DOT. It is not insurance, it is valuation, and is based solely on weight, (up to $0.60 USD per pound). This valuation coverage ONLY applies to household goods that are damaged whilst in the possession of the Supplier. This does not include the building, facility, storage, garage, interior or exterior, fencing, gutters, or other items/structures that could prevent movers from completing the job or provide a risk of fall or injury. It is the customers duty to indicate and/or clearly mark possible obstacles or hazards in or around the home.

Furnishings that are handled by the Movers and chosen for coverage at full replacement value must be specified, listed, and valued PRIOR to the start of services. Information regarding available options is provided by your moving team on the day of your move, with additional information available by calling the business office.

We recommend checking home owners insurance coverage and/or obtaining supplemental, personal, additional coverage for added protection during your move.

Claims: In the event of a claim, forms are provided via email, standard mail, on the website, or from your movers. Claims must be submitted in writing within 90 days of move completion or delivery. Claims must include description of item, damage, original value, replacement value, and time owned. Pictures submitted with any claims are encouraged.

Arbitration: Disputes or claims arising out of (or relating to) this agreement or the breach, termination, enforcement, interpretation or validity thereof, including the determination of the scope or applicability of this agreement to arbitrate, shall be determined by arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association before a single arbitrator. The arbitration shall take place in the jurisdiction of the company’s principal place of business. The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding upon the parties, and may be entered and enforced in any court of competent jurisdiction. Each party shall bear its own costs and expenses associated with the arbitration.
